Secondary Subscription Service

Post  Admin on Tue Jun 02, 2009 4:11 pm

As many of you will know, we only have a very limited number of live streams available and we cannot add any more unless we can find some advertisers.

As we have been trying to do this for nearly 3 years with no luck, we thought we would try another option.

The idea: Create a secondary service with the exact same tracks/output but playing at a fantastic 192kbps instead of the 128kbps on the free stream.

Subscription price would be £2.00 / $4.00 USD per month.

Subscribers would have a guaranteed stream and would be able to connect everytime and listen at 192kbps.

Is this something that you guys would be interested in?

Thanks for your support Paul, much appreciated.

We will be playing around a bit with the streams over the coming week.

The plan is to change the free stream to 96kbps but INCREASE the amount of free streams.

We will then add 128kbps as an option for Premium Members, allowing them to choose between 128 or 192kbps.

The Premium service will also grow over the coming month. We will be removing all the station imaging were possible, this allows the station to be used in shops & businesses as background music. The premium streams will also be the first to hear any new tracks which will not be added to the free stream for upto 2 weeks.

I am also getting started on the members area which should be up and running towards the end of July and a special Members section of the forum.

Phew.
